Shun Hinoki Cutting Boards

Hinoki is a type of Japanese cypress renowned for its beauty as well as its delicate, natural fragrance. When used in a cutting board, this medium-soft wood “gives” as you cut, helping to preserve the edges of fine cutlery. Usable on both sides, any curving can be alleviated by simply turning it over and using the other side until the board re-flattens.

Grown in Japan, Hinoki wood is recognized by the Forest Stewardship Council Certified for sustainable forest management practices.
